OfficeOne Solutions for Microsoft Office

OfficeOne provides products that extend Microsoft Office applications to add a range of additional functionality that makes Microsoft Office applications more useful. Also included here are tips, tricks, and examples of the features available in Microsoft Office applications through VBA and Windows API.

WinWebApps | OfficeOne

WinWebApps allows you to embed web applications and display them as standalone applications on Windows. Your web application can be developed using any of the Web technologies including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. WinWebApps displays your application in an embedded web browser, which gets installed with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Provide it with the URL of your web application and the properties of the Window in which the web browser will be embedded. Save the WinWebApp to a file by clicking the Save... button. You can now launch your web application directly from Windows through the saved WinWebApp file. WinWebApp will read the saved file and load the URL in the embedded Web Browser. You can redistribute the saved WinWebApp file and it can run on the machines where WinWebApp is installed.

Shortcut Manager for Excel | OfficeOne

Microsoft Office Excel simplifies recurring tasks through the use of macros. The macros themselves can be automatically generated by Excel by using the recording facility (Tools | Macro | Record New Macro...). Macros can also be written in the Visual Basic Editor using VBA. However, the macro code needs to be invoked from one of the menu items in the Excel user interface. There is no way to invoke a macro using keyboard shortcuts. Shortcut Manager for Excel intends to bridge that gap. Using Shortcut Manager, you can assign keyboard shortcuts to existing menu items, and record macros and macros are written in VBE even if they don't appear in the Excel user interface.

OfficeOne Shape Locker extends PowerPoint to allow you to lock shapes on slides, master slides, and layouts. Locked shapes do not allow changes to the attributes that have been locked. The lock information is stored within the presentation file and the shape attributes remain locked even on computers where OfficeOne Shape Locker is not present. The various attributes that can be locked are Position: Do not allow changes to the shape's location. Size: Do not allow changing the shape's height and width. Grouping: Do not allow shapes to be grouped with other shapes. Rotation: Do not allow changes in the shape's angle. Selection: Do not allow the shape to be selected. Text Editing: Do not allow changes to the text within the shape. Shape Type: Do not allow changes to the shape's type. Editing Points: Do not allow shape point changes. Arrowheads: Do not allow changes to line arrowheads. Adjust Handles: Do not show adjust handles. Shape Locker works with Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 (32-bit as well as 64-bit) and Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007.
